I really loved reading My Sister's Keeper, unfortunately I had to read it for my final paper in English, but it is a really good book. Happy Reading!laxgoalie31https://www.blogger.com/profile/01741930628493143331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081986109995592028.post-82233068581959571592007-05-30T18:20:00.000-07:002007-05-30T18:20:00.000-07:00I second Wendy in saying that The Book Thief and T...I second Wendy in saying that The Book Thief and To Kill a Mockingbird are two of my all-time favorite books.1morechapterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04919728304715220778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081986109995592028.post-14438032558539689232007-05-27T09:40:00.000-07:002007-05-27T09:40:00.000-07:00I'm really excited about reading all of these book...I'm really excited about reading all of these books, but somewhat nervous as well. Many of the classics are a little more adult, which will be a big challenge for me. I'm so used to reading fantasy and fiction, the transition to more classical stories will not be easy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081986109995592028.post-43571002520155698022007-05-27T08:25:00.000-07:002007-05-27T08:25:00.000-07:00Welcome to the challenge, AnneMarie - wow, you are...Welcome to the challenge, AnneMarie - wow, you are really a prolific reader! You have picked some great books to read (I LOVED The Book Thief and of course, To Kill A Mockingbird is a wonderful, wonderful classic). I'll have to think about suggestions :)Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14332796775305098552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081986109995592028.post-90141807244066908462007-05-27T07:57:00.000-07:002007-05-27T07:57:00.000-07:00Hi, Annemarie. After you get done with Pride & Prejudice, you might try Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot: Being the Correspondence of Two Young Ladies of Quality Regarding Various Magical Scandals in London and the Country. It's a YA book set in Regency England where magic is an everday thing. I enjoyed it a lot and I recommend it to everyone I know who likes both Harry Potter and Jane Austen. (It's surprising how many people that is!)Hopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02790012757391157680noreply@blogger.com
